"HELLO, are you hearing me?"   Do you ever think you are talking to someone, but they aren't listening...(I know he didn't hear a word I said)  GOD does HEAR YOU.   "the LORD  HEARD" 2Chr. 30:20   We have satelites circling the earth that are equiped to see and hear our communication, but GOD has always HEARD our whisper, cries, shouts, and mourns.  "the LORD  will  HEAR  when I  CALL  to  HIM"  Psalm 4:3   God does listen....  Jesus Christ said, "every idle word that you speak, you shall give account for it in the day of judgment"  Matthew 12:36  Everyone talks about Facebook & privacy;  GOD HEARS and is all knowing.  Talk to HIM  and listen to HIS WORD for HE is the one & only LIVING GOD who knows the beginning- the end & all in between, yet HE HEARS YOU. Temptation is not a sin.  Yielding to the temptation is when sin occurs.  But how do we triumph over temptation?  From where do these temptations come?  Who is tempted?  Why did God create Satan?  Don’t entertain, expect, excuse, or excite sin.  But what are the positive steps we can take?  Renounce the world, run from temptations of the flesh, and resist the Devil (only after you submit to God). With Mother’s Day coming up here is Brother Tommy’s salute to our mothers.  Here Tommy gives biblical examples both good and bad of motherhood.  What are the crucial contributions that mothers make to our lives?  Where did Christ’s humanity come from?  On a personal note, I just want to thank my Mom for raising three kids plus one husband in a God-fearing and loving home.  She set a great example for her family and her community.
